Testing

Production testing of electronics: every unit checked before it ships.

Whether we made your electronics or another factory did, we check every unit on test equipment built for your product. Each one gets a recorded pass or fail, so you know exactly what you are shipping.

A fault found during production costs little. The same fault found by your customer costs a return, a repair and some of your reputation. A test station built for your product checks each unit automatically and records the result, so faulty units never leave.

Our own ETS test station is the basis for this work, so a test setup for a new product can be ready sooner. We also test durability, to see how a device holds up over long use.

How it works

From the first call to the result.

  1. Test plan

We agree what must be checked on each unit, and how.

  2. Test station

We prepare test equipment for your product.

  3. Trial run

The tests are verified on sample units, including deliberately faulty ones.

  4. Testing in production

Every unit is tested and the results are recorded and shared with you.

A machine that checks electronics automatically: it prepares each unit, runs it through a series of checks and reports the result. We use it to test our customers' products during production.

FAQ

Common questions

Can you test electronics you did not make?

Yes. We test boards and devices from any manufacturer.

What do I receive?

A recorded pass or fail result for every unit, so you know exactly what you are shipping and can trace problems back.

When should testing be planned?

Ideally during design, so the board has test points and the software supports testing. Testing can also be added to an existing product.
